Me Time Ideas To Do At Home

The quickest and most inexpensive way to show yourself a little love is by enjoying some me time in the comfort of your own home. You can go all out and give yourself a manicure or you can keep things simple by sitting down and reading an article in the latest issue of your favorite magazine. As long as you’re taking the time, even if it’s only a few minutes, to recharge and focus on nothing but yourself you can do whatever you want with your me time.

Creating time for ourselves and practicing self-care is essential. I often feel guilty about setting time aside for just me. When that guilty feeling tries to take over my thoughts, I remind myself that self-care isn’t selfish. It’s necessary! To be the best version of ourselves, for ourselves and for others, we need to take care of ourselves. Even if it’s just for a few minutes, be “selfish” and try one of these activities out. I bet you feel refreshed after you do!

The ideas on this list range from beauty related activities, I am a beauty blogger after all, to crafting to exercise. My goal in creating this list was to come up with activities that are accessible to everyone and require minimal to no planning. Take a look, pick your favorites, and enjoy some me-time as soon as you can. Schedule it in your calendar if you have to, whatever it takes to make it happen!

One of my favorite me time activities is putting on a face mask. Face masks usually require that you wear them for about 15-20 minutes so they can be done even when you don’t have loads of time to spare. During these 15-20 glorious me time minutes, multi-task with one of the other ideas from this list to show your outside and inside some love!

I usually do face masks as part of my evening skincare routine. While wearing my mask, I like to read or watch TV. I usually go for a sheet mask so I don’t even have to wash it off. I simply remove the mask, massage in any excess essence, and enjoy the rest of my evening.
