Spring Beauty Must-Haves At A Glance
During the spring months, the weather is changing. My skincare needs and favorite beauty products are too. Here’s a quick list of my current must-haves that we’ll discuss in more detail in a moment!
- Lip Job Sugar Lip Scrub
- Stem Cellular Exfoliating Peel Spray
- Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm
- Mesmerize Mascara
- Glazed & Infused Lip Plumper Gloss
- Signature Face Palette
Lip Job Sugar Lip Scrub
To me, spring is all about a fresh start. That’s why the first two products on this list are exfoliating. My goal is to get rid of any dead skin and smooth the look of my lips and face. For my lips, I love the Beauty Society Lip Job Sugar Lip Scrub. BTW, Beauty Society is local to Las Vegas and you’ll be hearing more about this fabulous brand from me very soon! Lip Job is awesome because it has a great name. 🙂 Okay, that’s just a bonus! It’s awesome because it’s ingredients are tasty and safe enough to lick off! Scoop up a small amount, massage it onto your lips, lick (or wipe) it off, and reveal kissable, soft, and smooth lips!
Stem Cellular Exfoliating Peel Spray
I know! I just mentioned this product in last week’s sustainable beauty post. I’m talking about it again because it’s not only sustainable, clean, vegan, and cruelty-free – it’s one of my spring beauty must-haves! This exfoliant is interesting to me because it is a spray, not a scrub. To use it, simply spritz it onto your face and it will immediately loosen and lift away dead skin cells revealing younger, brighter looking skin. Juice Beauty’s Stem Cellular Exfoliating Peel Spray uses a gentle, plant-derived exfoliate. It also uses soothing cucumber extract and organic aloe to ensure it doesn’t irritate your skin or cause redness. This spray is effective and I use it 2-3 times a week.
Brightening Eye Balm
When it comes to spring beauty, I’m all about looking fresh and bright! That’s why this next product is a brightening one! One of my friends and I were actually talking about this product the other day, we love products that have a cooling effect. I find myself reaching for this eye balm when I’m feeling like I need a little pick-me-up. One swipe wakes my eye area right up! This is because the Tula Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm includes the key ingredient: caffeine. Other key ingredients include probiotic extracts, hydrating hyaluronic acid, and apple and watermelon.
Here is another fantastic product from a sustainable beauty brand! Vapour Beauty’s Mesmerize Mascara. To brighten up your eye area even more, I recommend using a lengthening mascara. This will help your eyes look more awake and youthful. I’m all about those long lashes, and just a few swipes of this Mesmerize Mascara will have you looking bright-eyed and bushy-tailed this spring. When it comes to clean beauty, this is by far the best mascara I’ve tried. Along with lengthening, this mascara softens and conditions lashes with Acacia Flower and Jojoba.
Popping Lip Gloss
To continue with this brightening theme, let’s make sure our lips are glowing with Caliray’s Glazed & Infused Lip Plumper Gloss (I’m loving the Dazed and Confused reference!). Glazed & Infused is a sustainable, vegan, and cruelty-free gloss that has a high shine finish. A little goes a long way with this product, so be sure to use it sparingly. This gloss comes in 6 spring-ready colors: Taco Tuesday (toasted caramel honey), Rainbow Blow (saucy bright pink – so perfect for spring!), Likely Story (warmed up nude peach), Free Palomas (pale nude pink), Orchid Ranch (soft violet mauve), and Lost & Sauced (medium cocoa brown).
Signature Face Palette
Let’s wrap up this post with the all-in-one RMS Beauty Signature Face Palette. I’ve repurchased this travel-friendly palette a few times. I love that it’s nontoxic and nourishing. Like all RMS Beauty products, this multi-tasking palette is formulated with raw, food-grade, and organic ingredients. I use the shades in the MOD collection to gloss my lips and add subtle, glowing color to my cheeks an eyelids. This palette, and the other version of it, the Pop collection, include a light bronzer, a highlighter, 2 lip and cheeks colors, and a lip and skin balm. I don’t really concern myself with how the palette is supposed to be used, I use it however I see fit! Which is why, even though it doesn’t technically include an eyeshadow, I use it on my eyes too.
